Astrida Valigorsky was born in Baltimore, Maryland but grew up in Western Massachusetts. For many years she designed websites for consumer brands in NYC and has held a number of roles and titles from Designer to Art Director, to Creative Director. She stumbled on performance photography in 2015 when she was gifted her first festival photo-pass as a favor. She spent that first figuring out a rental camera and accidentally made ‘art’… years later that fest still enjoys her coverage. With over 35 festivals and 900 musicians documented she is currently a contributor to several stock agencies including Getty, Shutterstock, and Zuma. She will write for a blog to find her way into a thing she wants to cover. Her work has been published in Rolling Stone, Billboard, E! Online, Entertainment Weekly, Newsweek, The Sun, The Daily Mail, The New York Post, as well as through most other news outlets. She is available for assignment and short tours.
